I received yo^r kind Letter, wherin you are pleased to give me—
farther assurance of yo^r Freindship; and att this time the circumstance, of my af
affaires make me presume to call upon you for itt, by requesting you to doe what good
offices you can for me to their Ldsh^ps. as far as Justice & equity will permitt

These inclosed papers are to show my inocence as to the charge of my factious—
Enimys here. As their Lo^ps. are Zealouse for Justice soe I doubt not but they will
be so farr [tender] of my reputation that if the Complain^ts. make not out their
Charge, there may be directions given for me to have my remedy att Law. M^r.
Randolph has a Letter of Attorney from me, but I have very good reasons to bas^e
his acting in any respect for me, w^ch shall be comunicated to you hereafter. w^ch I
pray Signify to their Lo^ps. that I doe revoake my Letter of Attorney.

As yett the Kings Letter is not come }
