New Hampshire Octor. 16th 1684


Sr:

I received yor kind Letter, wherin you are pleased to give me—
farther assurance of yor Freindship; and att this time the circumstance, of my af
affaires make me presume to call upon you for itt, by requesting you to doe what good
offices you can for me to their Ldshps. as far as Justice & equity will permitt

These inclosed papers are to show my inocence as to the charge of my factious—
Enimys here. As their Lops. are Zealouse for Justice soe I doubt not but they will
be so farr [tender] of my reputation that if the Complaints. make not out their
Charge, there may be directions given for me to have my remedy att Law. Mr.
Randolph has a Letter of Attorney from me, but I have very good reasons to base
his acting in any respect for me, wch shall be comunicated to you hereafter. wch I
pray Signify to their Lops. that I doe revoake my Letter of Attorney.
